Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and Medicare plans. Insurance companies state how much they will pay and how much you are responsible for. Please see the services section for more information about rates and insurance.
Q: Are sessions in person or online?
A: All therapy sessions are online via a HIPAA compliant (confidential) and easy-to-use video system. At times clients may opt to do telephone sessions.
Q: How long do sessions last?
A: Sessions are typically 45-53 minutes
Q: How will you charge me?
A: Since we are virtual, I require clients to place a credit card on file and will charge that card for fees outlined in the fee agreement and consent contract.
Q: What will therapy sessions be like?
A: Initially I will gather information about your background, history, relationships, what you've been experiencing, and ask about therapy goals. It takes time to build trust and to feel comfortable and we will go at your own pace. My intention is to make you feel at ease and to create a safe therapeutic environment for you. As we continue this process, I will ask for feedback along the way to make sure you are benefitting and getting what you need from sessions.
